Are you a teenager aged 14-17 that wants to have your say? Would you like to express your passions, insights and point of view in a film about your life, on your own terms?

Welcome to My World is a new Channel 4 documentary series about teenagers.

The series will be made up of 10 x 30-minute programmes, and each programme will focus on the life of a teenager and their world – the ups and downs, issues, and pressures.

We’ll equip you with a camera to film your own life and make a video diary, so you’ll be creatively involved.

We will also get one of your parents to make a film about their lives - then you’ll watch the films of each others’ lives, and get closer to understanding how the other lives.

It’s a chance for you to put your points of view across . It’s also the opportunity for you to show a true picture of your life, portray yourself as the individual you are – we’ll work closely with you to tell your story.

Our company, Lambent Productions, is an award-winning TV production company based in Brighton, and we specialise in making programmes for and about young people. We work closely with contributors to tell their stories, and we believe that treating people with respect and dignity is the best way to get to the heart of an issue.
